Groupwork Practitioner
As Groupwork Practitioner, you will develop a new area of work that responds to community need, delivering early intervention and prevention groupwork to increase people’s ability to improve their relationships and wellbeing.
Applicants should have proven experience of developing and delivering groupwork in community settings, the ability to work to agreed timescales, manage their own workload, and establish and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally. They should also be willing and able to travel within Avenue’s area of delivery (Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray).
Hours: Part-time, 18 hours per week - flexible.
Contract: Fixed term 6 months with the potential to become permanent.
Salary: £23,302 - £26,236 per annum, pro rata (dependant on experience).

Relationship Counsellor
We are looking for a qualified Relationship Counsellor to join our therapeutic team.
You must be a registered member of COSCA or the BACP and hold a recognised Diploma in Relationship Counselling, or a recognised Diploma in Counselling with an additional qualification in Relationship Counselling.
We would welcome conversations with qualified Relationship Counsellors located within commuting distance of our Avenue base in Elgin. The role will be on a freelance basis and will involve a blended delivery of face-to-face and remote working (via Zoom and/or phone).

Children and Young Person Counsellor
We are looking for qualified Children and Young People Counsellors to join our therapeutic team.
You must be a registered member of COSCA or the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a recognised Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People, or a recognised Diploma in Counselling, with an additional (Level 9 or equivalent) qualification in counselling Children and Young People. A proven record of working with children and young people is also a must.

Trustee (Voluntary)
As Avenue continues to grow and to meet the increasing demand of our service, we are looking for Trustees to join our existing Board, providing leadership and direction for Avenue.
The Board’s role is to secure Avenue’s long-term sustainability, to oversee the legal, financial and operational management of Avenue, and to ensure it meets the charitable aims set out in its constitution. As a trustee, you will share formal responsibility for the charity and must act in its best interests, regardless of how you are elected or appointed.
We are particularly looking for Trustees with the following knowledge and expertise: Charity Governance; Safeguarding and Child Protection; Fundraising; Marketing and Promotion; Social Care and Health (in particular Mental Health).
